12 Years Old

"Kayleigh is a visually impaired 12 year old girl who along with her younger sister is being raised by her grandmother. She’s a special education at Central Middle School in Tinley Park, Illinois and she recently won an award from Infinitec for her use of assistive technology.

She loves to be outside with the wind in her face. In the summer months she enjoys boating, swimming, tubing and with help from her family jet skiing.

Kayleigh’s visual impairment not only affects her mobility but also her ability to play and exercise.

An adaptive bike would not only help with those things but would also allow Kayleigh to do what most children her age are doing, riding a bike."
