- THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US -

What a crazy year 2020 has been! But thank you to all our runners who still joined us (virtually) with our 4th annual Hops for Hope 5K! Way to go!

For many of you this was your first virtual 5K, congrats! A virtual 5K takes a lot more motivation. We were hoping the Beer Stop 6 Pack would give you some motivation or giving you a BrewDay would be a good reason to "run" and grab a beer. Whether you ran or walked all that matters is you do this for Project Mobility and our mission of providing the freedom of mobility to children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities.

Thank you for your patience with the multiple date changes of moving the event from May to October and then transitioning it to virtual. We really missed the in person event but we made the best of what we were given thanks to all of you!

Thank you to The Midwest Brew Review for joining us this year and making this incredible video! Make sure to watch it, then check them out.

Project Mobility is hosting our 5th annual 5K beer run. Hops for Hope 5K is a twist on the traditional 5K! The event is timed and the course is certified, whether you are a runner or walker this event is for you. You can take a casual stroll with your friends and sip on beer samples throughout the course, or you can run to get your best time and skip the beer stops (discounted price) or chug your beer and go.

The 5K will start at the beautiful Mount Saint Mary Park in St. Charles and head towards Geneva on the scenic path through Wheeler Park and ends back at Mount Saint Mary Park for the Award Ceremony!

Proceeds benefit Project Mobility's mission to bring adaptive cycling opportunities to the lives of children, adults, and wounded service members with emotional and physical challenges.

THAT'S A WEIRD TWIST?! We think you mean delicious and fun! Throughout the 5K there will be 6 Refueling Stations (Beer Stops) featuring local craft breweries handing out 3-ounce beer samples to runners.

The Award Ceremony will feature a live band, more beer, food and Adaptive Bike Giveaway Presentation.

*All runners must be 21 years or older and show a valid ID day of the race.

Testimonials

"Best race ever. Run locally and benefits a great charity. They even deliver an adaptive bike to a deserving person at the event. The beer stations make this race the most interesting race I've ever run. Of course, if drinking while running isn't your thing you could always run it dry (although I don't advise it). Plan to spend the afternoon at the after party! "
